SENSE Workshop

VINN PATARARIN is a versatile fashion design studio that specialises in pioneering experiments with textiles and architecture. Central to our approach is the exploration of materials and space, aimed at providing individuals with a platform for self-expression and self-discovery.

In today’s fast-paced society, where the rush of time and the demands of chaotic lives often hinder moments of reflection, it’s essential to pause and contemplate the significance of our surroundings. In light of the constraints of time and space, compounded by the emergence of pandemics and concerns about environmental degradation, there is a growing desire to reconnect with nature, seeking solace and a sense of home in its embrace. Nature has evolved into a fundamental refuge, influencing various aspects of our physical, psychological, and emotional well-being in our modern lives.

Nature, functioning as a multi-sensory environment, holds the power to create safe and soothing spaces where one can find respite from agitation and anxiety. By engaging our senses through natural mediums like flowers, we can enhance our connection with ourselves and our environment, a concept we refer to as “floriography.”

The SENSE workshop is a unique opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in a multisensory experience. Here, we explore the senses of sight, sound, smell, touch, taste, and movement through activities like flower arrangement, textile vase weaving, and flower tea tasting. These activities not only serve as therapeutic tools but also allow individuals to reveal their hidden emotions within a supportive group setting.
