SatiSaanti is dedicated to the development of dementia-friendly products through the utilisation of design research methods. Recognising the challenges faced by older individuals, particularly those living with dementia, in their daily lives, SatiSaanti aims to address the usability issues associated with existing products, some of which are specialised and may contribute to social segregation, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.

SatiSaanti Studio is an innovative art studio born from the intersection of research and personal identity. It serves as a canvas for the exploration of how the insights gained from research can be translated into various art forms. The studio’s focus on art therapy informs both its creative methods and the healing journey of its artists, who experiment with therapeutic techniques as a means of self-expression.

In response to the limited awareness of dementia in Thailand, Dementia Journey seeks to address this gap by documenting and sharing dementia-related knowledge and research with the general public. The primary goals of Dementia Journey are to increase awareness and foster discussions on the potential impact of dementia from a design perspective. By exploring the profound meaning of life, Dementia Journey aims to provide valuable insights that can be reflected upon, applied, and integrated into our everyday experiences.

SENSE Project by VINN PATARARIN
The SENSE workshop provides a dedicated platform for participants to engage and stimulate their human senses, encompassing visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, gustatory, and kinesthetic experiences. Through engaging activities such as flower arrangement, textile vase weaving, and flower tea tasting, participants have the opportunity to explore and uncover the underlying emotional expressions within the therapeutic group setting to unlock and decipher the hidden messages conveyed through their sensory interactions.

Yanisa.Nien Research Studio specialises in the field of dementia care design. Our primary research methods encompass in-depth interviews, ethnography, and co-design workshops.
